It is not. The carburetor manufacturer's name is actually two words, Del Lorto, but you typically see it as DelLorto. Orto means "Garden" in Italian, but I am not sure what Lorto means, honestly. Getting back to the topic, I'd say check the alignment on the foam pad. I think they come about 1/8" too long from the factory. When that extra 1/8" or so of pad hits the area close to the adjuster screw, the mute assembly has a very hard time getting all the way up to the strings. Take it off, see how it fits under the tail piece and trim it if necessary.
If you screw it up, new foam pads only cost $1 from RIC.
