360 on SNL skit

Post by brianeharmonjr »

I didn't think it was very funny, but I figured I'd post it anyway.

I posted this on the RIC Forum and I was speculating either it came from someone in the SNL band or perhaps Jimmy Vivino from Conan's show band. Vivino has an amazing collection and I've seen him use a RIC 12 on that show but could not really make it out. But considering all the other vintage axes he's got, it might be a good bet and nice 12 like this came from him.

Ah SNL... How many times must we be reminded that they jumped the shark?

Just like MadTV.

I watched it every day for 2 weeks until I saw a sketch that genuinely made me laugh!

MadTV started out funny, then got just weird.

Jimmy Fallon once did a routine during SNL's Weekend Update in which he played a Model 1997 reissue.

Actually, I think it was a real 1997. I remember reading an interview where he said it was a 60's model Ric that was bought for him, as a gift, from Queen Latifah, of all people.
