Europe '08: Rickenbacker Reunion

Greetings from Brussels! I am travelling with my mom and grandma for the next couple weeks across Europe but we had a delightful day over the weekend with Graham as we toured London (The London Eye, great restaurant overlooking the Thames, etc). I know Graham has some pictures and hopefully he can post some of our mini-Rickenbacker reunion.

If anybody wants to see pictures of this year's adventure, I can certainly post some pictures....We'll be heading to Paris, Zurich, Como, Venice, Florence, and Rome over the next 3 weeks....so let me know if anybody wants a postcard

Greetings from Zurich!

We leave tomorrow for beautiful Lake Como but the great weather continues! We had a great couple days in Zurich and saw some great sites!

We're in Rome from May 23rd-May 31st Before that is Venice and Florence.

Glad you're having a great trip. Florence is my favourite Italian city and I'm sure you'll love it. There are some great clothing, shoe and handbag bargains to be had in the street stalls, too - especially in the streets north east of Via Panzani. But you've got to haggle with them.... offer half price - it worked for me!!

Give my regards to Il Duomo and the Ponte Vecchio, too!!

If you get to the Coliseum there's a great little cafe that makes the best traditional pizzas - it's in either Via Labicana or Via di San Giovanni in Laterano...... can't remember which but it's only 100 metres or so east of the Coliseum.
