Can you count the differences between the '95 MG and the '05 FG?

I found eight, not counting the obvoius finish and year differences.

Congrats on getting John's 5002, Jason. I see the gold pickguard color is different - darker on the mapleglo. Also the MG has nice flaming whereas the FG doesn't. Past that, I can't see them.

Yes, different toasters. (I hadn't caught that in my 1st count, so 9 now.)

True on the flame difference, although I didn't count that.

Yes, different gold.

Tuners are different. One has single line styling and one is double.

So that's 3 out of 9. To quote PW: Gosh, this is fun!

Fret sizes different? The MG looks like they are bigger.

The point at the end of the fretboard on the MG is more rounded off than the one on the FG.

I agree, a better pic of the '96 MG would help.

I don't understand the fascination with these things. Someone enlighten me. I have a hard time not viewing them as a novelty item, the production of which contributes to the current backlog... I must be too guitar-centric or something. Somebody fill me in on these things, eh?
