Ric *ALERT* in stock

Post by Ender Zed »

Musician's Friend got some Midnight Blue and of course they've been sitting on a pile of Jetglos. Get it while the getting is good.

I think they are sitting on all those JGs because "The Price Is NOT Right". IMHO

If anyone wants MID, there you go though.

You're right, John. If you shop around, you can find a better price than Musicians Friend has for the 4003.

Yeah but soon they'll all reflect the current price. Heck I got one of those Jetglos back in March. Of course I price quoted etc... and got it for $1499 and I am glad I did. Because the price is not going to go down, that we all can be sure about.

True, all the dealers will raise their prices when they are shipped guitars with the new prices, but some places will give a better discount on the new price than MF is giving.

True but what about inventory. These big retailers seems to get stock before the small guys, say like Pick of the Ricks.IMO

They aren't claiming to have turquoise in stock, but is odd that they still have a picture of one, several years after the production of instruments in that color was stopped. That could make some people think the color is available. :?

That's true of Fender, Gibson and the rest, but I don't think RIC favors larger dealers to the same degree. They know every guitar they produce is gonna sell, it doesn't matter where it goes. After things like the GC fiasco they might even prefer smaller dealers. BTW Pick of the Ricks has a Jetglo & MID 4003 in stock. I'd rather buy from Chris anyday

RIC produces guitars for dealers in the order that they are received.
I'd also rather buy from Chris at POTR any day. POTR is one of my two favorite dealers. You can't beat the friendly and honest customer service there.

The quote I got last week from MF was $500 more than Ender got a while ago. As to the speculation that bigger dealers get first shipments, Joey is right. JH has stated all shipments are in the order received.

+1 for POTR.
