The neck thru's are the one's to have, if you ever wanted one. I remember playing one a few years ago in in a music store. I believe it was a Greco, it had checkered binding and was neck thru, I liked it, not enough to buy it at the time. I would, if it were on the cheap, wouldn't have to worry about modifications, It'll never be worth much, fun to play with.
