Thinking of a certain pickup configuration.

Hey, I've been thinking of getting an Epiphone Dot, and swapping out the stock pickups with a Gibson '57 Plus in the bridge and a P-94 in the Neck. How would this pickup configuration fare?

Hey, I've been thinking of getting an Epiphone Dot, and swapping out the stock pickups with a Gibson '57 Plus in the bridge and a P-94 in the Neck. How would this pickup configuration fare?

I have an Epiphone Dot with a similar pickup setup, but not those exact pickups. At the bridge I have a Duncan Seth Lover (early PAF like) and at the neck I have a Duncan PhatCat (essentially a p90). The balance is a little wonky (neck pickup is louder), but the tone from both is wonderful. I also added a Bigsby B7 to mine - it's an awesome guitar!
