That Purple is the best finish I have seen on any instrument. Outstanding!

Someone needs a bass this colour...(me... :D )

That tang'er is very cool too....
I totally agree. You do need a bass that colour!

Congrats Tim. Purple is a beautiful colour. I love the Tangerine burst as well. Very very nice. 8)

You know, at this point, after all the marvels we've seen, I'm thinking if Paul says you should do a Lemonburst...you really should do a Lemonburst.

Bravo Paul.

A mellow yellow RIC. If Paul's backlog ever dwindles, I would certainly jump on it. We currently now have two other projects in the works, so I'm kinda waiting on the outcome of those for the near future. Stay tuned!!

Best,

Holy cow! Been away from the Forum for a few days, and came upon this thread.... That's fantastic, Tim! Looks like the little sister to my best-loved 330....

Stunning work, as always, PW!

BTW, Tim, when have you ever heard me sing? :?

That's an interesting comment for a couple of reasons Melissa. It just so happens that cows are sacred (or holy) in India and purple is a popular color in India. Btw many of us have heard you sing............you were on the radio a while back playing your Rickenbacker. Remember? I certainly do and I have a bad memory.

Hi Melissa,

I haven't heard you sing but my singing is akin to said sacred cow so I am sure you're voice is much more MELodiic.

Thanks for the insight on the purple. I'll take good care of your little sis.

Best,

How could I forget that, Brian? 2006 was an amazing year for me, and I was blessed with some pretty amazing opportunities. But now that just seems to be a distant and fading memory.... I don't think Tim was posting here back then, so he wouldn't have heard me....

BTW, I do hope to post some of my Melibee melodies here on the Forum sometime soon.... I've got a few too many irons in the fire right now! You know I've been busy when I haven't checked in here in a few days and nearly missed this thread! Normally I show up here every few hours to get my Rickenfix!

That was quite a day Melissa. I was so proud of you as were many others on this forum. You promoted Rickenbacker with the zeal of a new convert. I really enjoyed that broadcast. :)
