350SH

Post by jimanderson »

Can anyone tell me if the word Rickenbacker on the truss rod cover on the headstock of the 350 Suzanna Hoffs is smooth or raised?

Appears to be raised-letter based on these photos: http://www.rickresource.com/rrp/hoffscloseup.html

It is raised. See my response in the other thread for a picture of it.

Nope, mono output ... and 24-fret neck, too.

A 350 SH would be a really cool guitar to have. I would probably ruin it by using it regularly for gigs though. I like the combination of the smaller body with the full scale neck, and the double bound body, neck binding and triangle fret inlays. :D

One of my regular gigging guitars is a Gretsch silverjet-quite a contrast to the 381. The 350 SH would be a nice small-bodied Ric that's semi-hollow bodied. I like the shape better than the 600 series as well.

Truly is one of the most unique Rics that there is. If I had had the cash, I would have bought one for this girl who was close friends with me. She didn't play guitar, but I think she liked the Bangles. :P

Is there also something different about the neck on this model?
