I for one find it funny that thinking from the 80's seems strange, but thinking ever further back is good?

I'm a fan of new ideas. Infrared and Ultraviolet are the new wave. colors in the visible spectrum have been done to death.

Wouldn't that make all of the guitars just look like mapleglo unless one had a pair of goggles and some fancy lights? How would the audience at a gig be able to tell? Wouldn't they need goggles as well?

Here's an easy one for all the musicians on the board. What huge rock star endorsed Roto Sound strings and even had his name on a set.

Not necesarely. The NorthSea is big enough to make this word confusing.

No No No. Infrared and Ultraviolet penetrate the wood and give then entire guitar the color. so to the untrained eye, it looks like floating hardware.

We tried applying ultraviolet to a 330 after the wood sealer, and this was the result.

This is the before picture, when it was a stock mapleglo

Clearly the difference is night and day.

Does everyone know I'm kidding yet?

Shouldn't this be in the Rock N'Roll trivia section Aitch?

I thinkI still have an old package around. It's John Entwistle. There used to be a photo of him on the back of the package of Rostosound Swing bass strings. He was playing a really ugly bass in the photo-sort of Explorer shaped with a really dangerous headstock. :|
