RIC will ship no bass before it's time. My guess is they made more than a handful.... just because of the disruption of regular production making only a few would cause.

I feel your pain Tony. I had a jetglo Laredo on order in Oct. 2006 and was told it would be about 18 months. After about 8 months a jetglo 4004 showed up on ebay and I jumped on it but that 8 months felt like an eternity. I think I would still be waiting if I hadn't lucked out with ebay. There's a midnight blue Laredo on ebay right now, wouldn't it be nice to have a Laredo to go along with that Blueburst Cii? :) :) :)

Nuthin' for me yet, either. I was expecting a call from North Coast by now, but . . . .

Still waiting on my Blueburst Cheyenne. 895 days and counting . . . .

OH man, I didn't see THAT one! Thank's for pointing it out Marc! You're right, THAT would make a nice addition to the Cii, and I like the pickup placement on it too! It would make a NICE FRETLESS!

But, I'm down to a VERY FEW "must have or would LIKE to have" RIC's now....those being a MID 70's 4001FL (HI JOEY ) a late 70's "S" with a set neck, possibly a 4002 (yeah, I know... I hear the laughing) and possibly a 5002. I'm really falling in love with my 4003FL, and as strange as it sounds, most of my fretted RIC's are only getting about 20% of the play time.

I apologize about my whining about the wait, especially when I hear you guys with those killer wait times. I think I'm feeling this one more than the others is because my little "collection" is almost complete, and the numbers are winding down. I don't have too many new ones to look forward to. THIS one is most likely my last NEW RIC for a long time unless RIC offers some new model or a fretless COY.

Of course, if I could learn to play guitar.....
