Around 1998, after the Tom Petty Limited Editions finished their run.

If you want to include the TPs, then the model was introduced sometime in 1990

I'd love to have a 660/12TP, but they are fetching some major bucks these days. Of course it is a Rickenbacker and it is quality. I just feel fortunate to have been able to afford my 360/12v64 and 325JL all those years ago.

Has anyone seen a 660/12 Fireglo around of late? (Other than ebay). I'm trying to get my mitts on one.

Decided to go for the 660/12 over thre 360/12v64....

...and if I get one, would it be sacrilege to put the big oven knobs on it?

Simon,

Willcutt Guitars has twenty new Ric guitars in stock. There are three 660/12s; two Jetglows and one Midnight Blue. Willcutt's has great service and a great staff, but they are not quite as accomodating as some other dealers on Ric pricing. Their selling prices are based on current retail price (rather than the price that was in effect when the order was originally placed) and they offer a slightly smaller discount than can be had elsewhere. But if you really want the guitar and are willing to pay the price you can have one today!

Hey Roger, thanks for that. Yeah, I saw them - no Fireglo 660s though unfortunately. For some reason I have my heart set on Fireglo
