Here is a photo of the NEW inlays from RIC. John Hall... Please add these inlays to ALL of the C-Series guitars!

That looks so f**cking cool. Makes me want to change out my early '90's Gumby 360-Rick for a new one... Maybe I'll order as a back up!

I've posted earlier on this thread and to my eye, the full width is the way to go. But, the '60's sparkle were just too flashy.
The new material is full width, brighter than what was used in the '50's but not too flashy. Perfect! Thanks, Rickenbacker.

Send me one with a banner and I'll play it and promote it every '80's Band show. Hell, I'll even through some Paul Weller songs into the set list!

When I first saw the pic below, I thought RIC had FINALLY gotten it right and put a 660/12 neck on a 360 platform:

(Okay, so that's not ALL I thought, but that's all I thought that would be forum-appropriate ;) )

Sadly, it is just the (WAY COOL!!) full-width inlays, but a guy can still dream, eh?

One of these days, I'll be able to buy a Rick 12 that I can keep forever instead of selling it like I've done with so many in the last 25+ years because I can't get along with the narrower 12 string width.

(sigh!)

BTW - Great shots of the neck redos there, JJ!!

You will find that accessory in the RIC Boutique, but it says "Currently Unavailable".

Oh--HEY! THERE'S the guitar! It's right there, on the most expensive guitar stand in the world!
But seriously, what color is that thing? (The GUITAR thing, not the other thing!)

Is MID really darker than it was previously, or is it just the picture?

It's probably the pic.

I really like the the look of the new FWI material; there's just something about it. I think I like it better than the 60s style pearl material. :D

Dunno, but Big Country had Tartan shirts...

Nice pic btw, Scottie; one can see the swirliness of the new inlays in your photo-they aren't completely washed out the way they appear in some of the other photos.

I gotta say, I like full-width inlays and the new material does pop more, but on some of the '08s ive seen it looks kinda cheap...

I also like the old mid :( thats just me i guess
