V64 & C63 are in

So my 360/12V64 and 4001C64 have arrived. They're both going to take a bit of getting used to since I haven't had a Rick 12 string or bass before. I played the 12 string at band practice till my left hand was numb, but each note was ringing clearly when picking out chords, and riffing has been a breeze. The 4001 feels like a tank compared to my Hofner, but it sounds fantastic plays good to boot, so I should be used to it in no time. I'll get some more photos up tomorrow when I have natural light to work with.

Very nice collection and photo Wes, plus The Smiths, The Who and The Beatles - can't fail with that selection.

Hey, I've got the same Yamaha monitors, little but loud!

Nice collection, Wes. I have the feeling you'll eventually hang more Ricks on that wall.
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS! :-)

You've got yourself a hell of a collection, Wes! I can't wait to proudly post up pics of my collection (IF I ever get a second Ric, that is!).

What do you think of the sound of the C64 bass? How do you like the caps on the pickups?

I sold Howard this guitar a few months ago, it's with Paul W right now till he picks it up.

I haven't quite found the perfect settings on my amp for it yet, but I'm liking it a lot so far. I don't mind the cap on the horseshoe, but I'm planning on putting in a push/pull so I can switch back and forth. (anyone know where to get the part?)

Thanks. It's funny those bands all used Rickenbacker at one time or another, those posters have been there since before I owned any Ricks, I didn't plan that. Guess that's one reason I'm so drawn to them.

Haven't had time for more photos, I'll work on that tomorrow.

Sublime.
Play on, pick often, jam with any Rickenbacker, and prosper.
