What Color Would You Like To See?

Somebody did a chuck roast glo finish?!

It would be nice to be able to buy a bare naked Ric and have it finished in the color of one's choice, but that would make warrantying the guitar impossible, even if RIC were inclined to do so.

I'd have a sparkle finish Ric done to match my Silverjet. I probably will anyway, right after I have one finished in Blue Boy!

Jetglo would look great with carbon fiber Pickguards too. Full width carbon fiber markers on the fretboard and chrome hardware. Oh it was only a dream.

How about carbon fiber binding? That would look shweet!

I think the colour and attention to detail on the 75th anniversary models was breathtaking.

This has to be one of the best Ric colour combinations ever.



If I was designing for Ric I would demand this......

I love the 'embossed' pickguard on the 75th anniversary models so I would have that on every model, maybe with just the name of the actual guitar "Rickenbacker 360/6" etc replacing "75th Anniversary, that would be so cool.
I would go for the retro style knobs, but maybe smaller, say 3/4 size.
All the chrome parts would be re-finished in gold.
Each different model would have it's own distinctive tail piece.
Every one of my designed Rics would come with a leather strap in the same colour as the guitar, so thats dark purple and gold!
