I have to say that your 325 is my favorite, I love the wood grain and the Burns just do it well even on mapleglo...Is it the 325 that was on ebay about 2 months ago ? I was watching it...
How does it sound ?

Wes: A gorgeous guitar. Orange you glad you got it?
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Unfortunately, there are no photos that exist of my 325V63. However, it is in the happy hands of Arrow201, who, when he gets time, I'm sure will have some lovely photos of him with it.

Thanks, it is indeed that guitar. Turned out to be a great purchase. I love the plunky sound I get with it, but today I'm going to try putting a 7.4k toaster in the bridge just to see how it sounds.

The tailpiece in the top pic is a Kauffmann Vibrato like what comes on the 325c58. It was issued to preserve authenticity.

The guitar is what started out as a natural finish '03 325C58, and I used it as a basis to do a recreation of the 1958 325 as it was originally made, with a 2-knob wiring circuit and the alternative two-tone brown finish (nitrocellulose).

All of the original 325s in 1958 had the Kauffman Vibrola, as were all of the 1959 315s made. By 1960 some of the guitars that were still around may have had the Kauffman removed and replaced with the Accent, which was the standard tremelo arm from here on out...

Sorry for the multiple posts. I'm still kind of a newb when it comes to posting pics on this forum. I didn't quite understand the place inline thing.

Mike, when you add the first pic inline, just add another, up to 3 total. Then post. Very nice 325, BTW.

Mike, congrats, c64s are great guitars--I find myself using mine for all kinds of music.
