How about Grampian, Dallas and Elpico? Also perhaps Watkins and Fenton Weill.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Reg played with the Troggs and I believe that his real last name was Ball. The only reason I sort of remember that is because he shared the same last name as one of my favourite football (soccer) players............Alan Ball.

Correct on Watkins/WEM and Fenton Weill Peter.

One more to go. This one is a bit more obscure.

And may have been related to Ernie Ball, watched Lucille Ball and played with a rubber ball.

Sorry, Brian....... it's coming up to 4:00pm in the office on Friday afternoon and I'm in 'FIIKFIIC' mode!

Obscure, eh? How about Kelly, Impact or Leak. Come to think of it, Leak used to make extremely good valve hifi amplifiers.

Did Burns make them back then?

Aitch you probably should be giving that slavedriver boss of your his pint of blood right up to the last second otherwise he will send your butt to latrine duty in some far off place that you would need a magnifying glass and a dictionary to decode the name and of course I should be thinking of getting some shut eye.

Thanks for confirming my sometimes dodgy memory. Alan Ball btw was the greatest. He was my hero because they said he was too short to play in the first division. Where have I heard that before? He was part of the 1966 cup team for England. What a win that was and what a game he played. Those were the days.

Try again Aitch. The one I am looking for was made in Dorset England. They were one of the nicest sounding amps ever made. Many of British bands in the South of England started using them and then they packed it in and focused on their primary business.

That's it Scott. The one on the right was the most popular in their line up since it was of professional quality (at the time). My rhythm guitarist had one of those. They are a very nice sounding amp and quite rare if you can find one today.

A skiffle group needed a drummer? Just kidding.   The only skiffle group I remember vividly was Lonnie Donegan
