Chris Squire
I know this is a stretch,....but living in a real small town in Ohio, I realize that I have virtually no chance of ever meeting such a Rickenbacker celebrity such as Chris Squire. My wife and I have been to many shows in the area but I've never gotten the opportunity to even get close.(We're talking 25+ years). But,,some of you guys have access to the NAMM shows and are very fortunate enough to talk and be photographed with him.......My question is, have any of you ever invited him to visit our forum?...I mean, yea, he's famous but in his down time I'm sure he surfs the web just like anybody else, It would be real cool to chat with him. It would shine a light on a lot of questions.

Chris Squire visiting the Forum? Now that would be totally rad! I mean, the coolest CEO in the world drops in from time to time on the Rickenbacker Forum. Why shouldn't one of the coolest Rick bass players in the world do the same? How should one go about inviting Chris to post in here? Any ideas?
A Rickenbacker bass is much like the Jaguar E car - perennially ultra-fashionable.

Does any famous Bass player other than Chris Squire play a Rickenbacker these days anymore (as a well used main instrument???? ) The only other ones I can think of is Geddy Lee and He has not played one for about 20 years. OR- Mike Meseros(sp?) of the Smithereens, but, I saw them about 4 years ago and no Ricks in sight. SO Anyone??
I think it would be cool if Squire posted here, and a honor if the chance arose to ask a question, but just think, once the word got out how flooded the website could get with Yes fans, trying to get a word in, or just to see whats up."
P.S. I forgot to mention Lemmy too. Who else I forget? anybody??

A great idea. Good effort Robj, you are to be commended for your initiative.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm
