Good one Joey

Should I use the excuse that I was checking to see if we had any Deep Purple fans here? Nah. Every bass player loves DP don't they?

Here's the next one, it might be a little tougher.

Who wrote the Bangles first big hit "Manic Monday" using the pseodonym "Christopher"?

Prince! He of small stature and enormous ego...

OK one more and then someone else can take a turn:

Between April and July of 1977 two actors who were then starring on separate hit shows on ABC television also hit number one on the pop charts. Which two singers/actors reached the top of the charts in 1977?

David Soul and.....augh!!! I'll have to resort to research!

Research done:
What about Shaun Cassidy????? (Da Doo Ron Ron & starred in The Hardy Boys)
David Soul did "Dont Give Up on Us" - a song that would have made Air Supply proud, as well as the seminal cop show Starsky & Hutch.

Right... now for a question with an Aussie flavour.

Two Australian acts, a band (not Air Supply) and a solo artist (also a US TV star), had top ten hits in the US in '81.

The solo act and a founding member of the band had a connection that stretched back to the late '60s...

Who was the solo act?

What was the name of the band?

What was the connection?
