HEY KIDS! LOOK! IT'S JUNE!

Have a Rick guitar with a June birthday to celebrate? Tell us about it! Was it your first Rick? Who'd you buy it from? Find $100,000 in twenties sewn into the case lining like I did? Give us all the dirty deets right here!

Here is my 4004 Cii/5 born June '04. For many years, I anxiously waited for RIC to make a fingerstyle friendly 5 string bass. As soon as I knew that these were available and that I could order one, I did. Almost 18 months later, this beauty arrived. I've gigged with this bass many times and I've also recorded with it, so before anyone assumes that the pickups on this Cii/5 do not properly pickup the B and G strings, THEY DO!
This is the only bass I know that has a tone that is more powerful and muscular than Da Blue Beast.

I bought my 360/12V64 new back in 1989, so its birthday time!
Always wanted one just like George's after seeing Hard days Night for the first time around 1984/85 ,can't remember exactly!

I mean, i love all Ricks but these bound ones are sooo cool 8)

Nice bass, Joey! I imagine it looks even better in person since I heard the translucents don't photograph well. (Maybe one day I'll get to see a TR, but then it might make me want one and we know what happened last time I wanted a Cii  ). I haven't decided if the all black pickups look better than the pickups with gold surrounds. I wonder what the redesigned ones will look like if RIC ever gets to produce them.

That's a real stunner, Joey! Love that figured wood + red.

HIggins - I don't know if my computer is just acting up, but I can't see your pic.

Thanks again guys.

Ryan, guitars rarely look good in pics I take of them. That trans red is actually a bit darker than in those photos.

Higgins - 'Photobucket' is a pretty popular pic hosting site. I use 'Imageshack.' It's pretty user-friendly. Both of these sites are free, I believe.

John I agree – binding looks so cool on 360s… nice pair you have there!!!

Joey damn nice 4004. I think I like the black covers with the red. Yeah the color is never true… outdoors is closer but not exact either. Still schweet looking!!
