Not too easy for those in UK this act onLy managed 2 small hits in early 60's.
In USA however the act did rather better, 14 top 40 hits including a number one.
This recording though is a departure from the sound that gave them the hits.

I thought I had better post as we are rapidly running out of week. I have no more idea now than I had on Saturday when it first appeared. However I do like it, whoever and whenever it was recorded did a really great job.

Well this one was about as close I could get to stumping you experts, only 4 correct answers only 2 from the forum well done Peter and Bob O, though not many entries though I appreciate some don't enter if they simply have not a clue.
The clue was music of a certain genre in this case Surf music because the answer was Jan and Dean who I am sure even those in UK will have heard of.
