Poor Graham, can't catch a break huh?

Yeah, Graham talks softly but carries a big (vintage) Rick.bob_atherton wrote:I had no idea that Graham's collection was that big, and each and every one a classic, just stunning. I only play bass but I could be talked into guitar with that 1960 335F, that's as cool as a moose...!
Very good eyes, Sergio. No wire from the bridge pup to the switch.rickcrazy wrote:A VERY interesting thread indeed!![]()
Just curious: is it my eyes, or the treble pickup on that 21 fretter is not wired up?...
Good point, Scott. I flashed on that when I read Sergio's post but didn't carry through on the thought to that conclusion.cheyenne wrote:OOKKK,, Didnt John Hall himself mention that the horseshoe on Squire's cream RM was disconnected when he had it in for service? And it looked like it had been for quite some time?
HHmmmm. Makes you wonder eh???
Jim, that was kind of my thought. I am not doubting RIC found the pickup disconnected, just that it looked like it had been off for quite a while. I think Chris would have missed it.just_bassics wrote:I thought I also read somewhere that RIC service got Chris's bass after another repair, so that may explain why the pickup lead was off when RIC got it. Can't imagine Squire not having that horsie working full throttle! Somewhere, maybe the RIC forum, there was a posting by JH on this subject.
If this is indeed Squire's bass, then it's the one that was used in the Astral Traveller film and possibly the studio bass used on The Yes Album as well.
