That was probably taken at the factory tour during the 75th Anniversary celebration ... I think I have a similar picture somewhere ...found it!

If by strange you mean stunningly gorgeous, then I have to agree. There are pictures floating around of that built up, with a pretty extraordinary guitar stand, IIRC.

i like the finish. i'd just like to see their color transitions a little less harsh.

It might be a softer transition, photographing bursts of any kind usually come out "harsher" than reality.

yeah, but even most of the FGs and the like have a sudden transition.

Yeah that one is a little dramatic and therefore will never see the light of day as a COY.

And it's a completely different guitar than the one with the..ahem.."Guitar Stand". Different green altogether.

Highly doubtful...But never say never.

In fact, we're VERY close on what the next COY will be.
