Julien, um...it was superb value at $0.01!! Three bucks for postage! It'll be worth every cent.

Aitch and I have talked about organising something before he flys out to SoCal, and Brett Dillion is likely to be in town in July also. I'll start the ball rolling shortly.

Thanks :D

I'm actually not the bassplayer on the recording,I'm just in the video as their new bassplayer, so it's not a Ric you're hearing.
In a few weeks we go back recording and then I'll bring my v63 and 4001. 8)

Since we're on a tangent, is $175 for a Bassman cab with 2 - 12" original drivers reasonable? The cab is BEAT and needs to be recovered, the grill looks like someone painted it black at one point long ago, it only has 5 screws holding the back on, and the top driver has the phenolic connection board pulled loose and it is encased in gray duct tape. Interestingly, at one point in 1972 I rented a cab like this and when I looked inside to see what sound dampening it had, the top speaker had the connector board loose and in gray duct tape. It has me wondering.... It's in a local pawn shop and he has had it for at least 2 years. He won't budge on the price. Oh, the drivers ohm out okay. I can't see the cones to tell how they are.

John, where is it? Local? (wink)
If it sounds good and all, it is in my book. Can't find a cab much cheaper than that no matter what name is on it.

Hey Andrew, I beleive it was a local delivery, as it has the voltage selector on the back, whereas the made for US amps are straight 110v. The cab is the 4 x 12 slanted box, where the speakers all slant inwards (see pic). I just had the head serviced and retubed by Ross Giles, and it's sounding awesome. Hope we can get back to the Karova Lounge in the next few months.
