Fishing to trade ?

Post by VRICKY63 »

I know this sounds weird but I am not real comfortable with my FG4001V63 . The horseshoe is in my way and although I have a high gain to put in its place I do not like the bass looking non V63 ish . The bass works if Im standing but most of my playing is sitting . I paid $2500 for it so that's my target in value . I would like a nice (excuse me please) Fender Jazz (Fullerton ? ) or narrow neck S type RIC or ? Just curious to see what's out there but who knows what could happen ? Any serious trade would have to be with an established Forum member . We can take this off topic to emails if that is a better way of working .

Hmmmmm... Interesting and intriguing! Please do Email me! I have a first year (Jan '83) Fullerton Jazz in Vintage white that has been with me since '87. Great shape. I'm at [email protected]. Been here since the very beginning, but tend to be on the quiet side, although I check in several times daily. Had some great transactions with others here too.

is yours a narrow or chunky neck? weight? i could be interested in a trade situation with my white 74 4000. and i could throw in a pretty darn nice jazz clone w/ 70's aspen body/sd hot jazz pups, and 80's st blues neck......both w/cases....

Inside the bas is a tag that says 9/12/97 . The neck is not chunky to me but is not as thin and narrow as the two 1977 4001 basses I had . I guess it is like a 4003 neck ?
