The return of the "old"....

Post by Flagg »

Greetings from an old and now new Ric player!!

Hi Guys! Just wanted to drop in and say "hey"!!

Started playing Rics (around) 1971(2) and have had one pretty much ever since. I bought a new MNB 4003 in 2001 from (dare I say) Ed Roman's place in Vegas - specifically because I couldn't get one here in KC (1 year wait) and he had one for me 3 days after I returned home.....but that's another story.....

Anyway, made the STUPID mistake of selling it in 2005 (Made a handsome profit) and regretted it nearly immediately.....

So, long story short....happend into a GC about 3 weeks ago and WHAMMO!!!! there is another MNB 4003 from 2004....bought it immediately and have been loving it ever since....I swear to all that is Holy.....I will never sell a Ric again!!!

Anyway....just wanted to say HI!!

Welcome, Flagg! :)

By MNB, I take it that you mean Midnight Blue (MID). Love that finish!

If you can, please post a picture or two ... it's nearly mandatory around here!

Innit, tho! I tell ya, it's acronym-a-go-go round here. MG/BT...C64S...360/12VPMB - and that's just the tip of the iceberg. This is strictly FYI you understand, but TBH keeping track of it all can be a right PITA!
