Post by evolvingear »

Anyone know of a shop that specializes in a setting up/repairing Rick 12's in New York City?
Thanks....

Pick of the Ricks in New Jersey is worth the drive. Totally worth the drive. JB lives in NYC and can best comment though.

2 hours, IIRC.

Let's see, at avg. 60mph, that's 120 miles, if you get 30 mpg hwy, that is 4 gallons of gas, at $4/gal, that's $16, x2 for round trip = $32.00 USD to have one of the best Rick guys around work on your Rick. Just a rough estimate, of course. Quite literally, YYMV.

An easy hour and a half, Bob. Straight down the Turnpike. I love the drive.

Bring it to Pick of the Ricks. I don't know of anybody in NYC who actually "specializes" in Rickenbackers, but Chris is great.
