Sorry Nolan, I got sidetracked. I'll check when I get home.

For those interested I may have found someone who can make the strap. I'll keep you posted.

I can't find a decent shot of the strap on this computer, here's a close-up of the one above.

This one probably doesn't help any.

that looks no different than any strap Levy produces. No to sound offensive lol. The second pic though, its way to dark to even make out

To your first point:
I never said it was anything special.

To your second point:
I believe I said, in reference to the photo, something along the lines of "This one probably doesn't help any".

Sorry I tried to be of assistance, won't happen again.

I can see being obsessed with having the same bass as Paul. But the strap? Buy one of Levy's unpadded straps and slice slots into it.

I think its the buckle part that has people facinated. But I get your point. I bought a Beatle strap for my Hofner, but I ended up adding the buttons and getting a regular strap.

Ronn, don't be like that. I was just pointing out that it looks like a regular leather strap thats all. I did say I wasn't trying to sound offensive. Anyway, I have to say, I love the finish on your bass.
I've seen it around this forum quite a bit and I wanted to the same thing to my 4003S.

Now this is an interesting statement, considering how many Ric guitarists on this forum probably own Vox Python straps because John had one.

Hey Ronn, who did that MMT paint job on your bass? I've never liked Macca's paint job,(too sloppily done for me) but your bass looks pretty cool.

I'm guilty.
I got up my courage with a 6-pack of Shiners and then went at it. The bass is MG originally so I had to give it a FG finish first, then splatter the MMT on top of that. I dont like the look of Paul's silver/grey so I used teal(which I had lying around the garage), and I like it better. That way it's more inspired by Paul's design than a direct copy. IMO.
Glad you like it!
