nice, they have arrived and are on, i have to say though they are still slightly harderd 2 play on that my old roundwounds, mmmmmm how low a tension does my left hand demand?? =s any remidys for this, of do i just need to make my left hand get stronger???

I would only change flatwounds if the winding were to come loose. Otherwise they just sound better and better, like a fine wine.ricky22 wrote:well guys ive gone for it and ordered some ti's. hope they are all they are cracked up to be, havent read a bad review about them on the web.
just out of intrest- i have herd the strings last a very long time, much longer than roundwounds. whats the longest a forum member has left some on their bass????

yeh, i also heard he perfered increadably high action, simulating an upright bass.
