What is UP with the pictures? Godzilla, OK, I get it, but come ON!
There is another Midnight Blue that has been sitting on Ebay for 4 days with a BIN under $900. In these days of Ric madness, I thought that would be gone in a heartbeat!

Haha, those pictures are funny--I guess some people will do anything to try to entice buyers, although I would find it hard to take this seller seriously! BTW, that's NOT blueburst, it's Midnight Blue....Cool color, but Blueburst is the ultra-rare holy grail of Ric colors!

I have to agree with you Melissa, I love the blueburst copy that was recently up and would love to have a 4003 in that color! AzureGlo is my fave, but a burst would be killer!

Such flowerly language in the description, too, like the blue from Hawaii, the most heavenly tones in the entire kingdom, etc. etc. I just wanna know how long he left it laying out on his deck in the plants. Will I need to fertilize it? And is there any neck repair from where it appears that Godzilla himself bit thru it?

Soooo cool! I am curious, does it really have "THE" sound? When is RIC going to make Blueburst the Color of the Year? <sigh....> A girl can dream, right?

I wish the finish of the year for 2005 would be Quilt Maple Blueburst.

A boy can dream too, right?

Full width inlays, toaster, horseshoe, checker bound body, headstock and neck. Maybe no pickgaurd to hide the highly quilted maple. Hipshot A Style bridge and Ultralite tuners (customer's choice of Cloverleaf or Y key style). Perhaps this could be a cross between a 4004Cii and a '64 4001?

Hmm. For a Forum Edition...

I'm for:
- BlueBurst
- Quilted Maple
- Checkered Binding
- Full width inlays
- Silk-screened TRC
- Reissue horse-shoe
- Vintage knobs (not oven)
- Toaster neck pickup in vintage position
- Pickguard

Don't mind, yet don't require:
- Ric-O-Sound
- Vintage squared heel
- Lucite finger rest

Being that we're about 50/50 on the issue, a treble cap. switch may be in order.

Don't want:
- An extra string - What can you possibly do with that thing, anyway? Image
