Thanks for your thoughts. Glad to know its not "just" me that "hears" what Rory had going. He has such fun with his playing that it transcends ego and
sends a big message out to some of today's posturing dour-angst-yell bands to "lighten up". Maybe his videos should be run at all Guitar Centers from
11 am to 2 pm every Saturday?

That's one gig i wish i had seen
I was 14 when he played Belfast back in 84 and i couldn't get a ticket ,he played Dublin the next night IIRC

Funny thing is, the Ulster Hall Belfast stage doesn't look that big when you are there ,this might be the Dublin gig.
