I believe all the video footage of my first band (Post Mortem) was destroyed, at my request.

Allow me to introduce you to the "The Wild Set." This is our group performing in 1965 at a local dance in Saint John, New Brunswick
We were the "new kids" on the block back then and a number of the older bands showed up to see us and got quite a surprise.
Here we are doing "Bright Lights Big City" and yours truly is on the tenor saxophone. The Duosonic is mine and played by a close friend who still performs with me today, 43 years later.
You have to love the cool uniforms too. Yellow TeeKays. Does anyone else remember them?
Leprosy is rare & scarce but nobody wants that!

Mike: A Kay, I believe.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Re: First Band Scrap Book
Anyone know how to get VHS footage onto an Apple computer? I've got '80's stuff of my band with me on 4005.
Re: First Band Scrap Book
I wish I was tech savvy enough to help with that Jerry. Because I think that would be cool to see. As you know, I really like your music and I am sure others here do too.

I'm working on the same issue. I thought I had a lot more footage of Skaface on a local TV station, but I can only find 1 appearance. There are places around here that dump VHS onto a cd. Many of them seem to be in Little India for some reason. I guess you could specify what format, then edit it with iMovie or something.shamustwin wrote:Anyone know how to get VHS footage onto an Apple computer? Good stuff Greg,
I am looking forward to your contribution to this scrap book. I am sure others are too.
