Wonder why it has the name on the headstock instead of the TRC? I thought about it too...but I am not really down with the fireglo on that one, plus no checkered binding! Image

For what reason would anyone buy a copy? It's **** isn't it, or aren't Ric's that good?

Some copies can be fun to play. I think the Ibanez neck thrus from the 70's are quite nice and they are collectible, although not on the same scale as the real deal.

Yes, but buying these does finance the wrong people. The money is better spent on Rickenbacker.

But, some people do have money to burn.

I wouldn't so much say that. I own an Ibanez copy and, for the forseeable future, its all I can afford. I paid £120(UK)second hand for it. Much as I'd love a proper Rick, over here they simply cost too much so, till I start earning appreciable amounts of money, the Ibanez stays and I hope for the day I have enough cash to get a MG v63.
