That's great! I'll have to get a copy of the magazine. I have always been a fan and in awe of Roger's talent and his sound on the 12-string...especially the Rickenbacker 12-string. For me, his recordings with the Byrds, etc. define the classic Rickenbacker sound. He is in a class by himself. Maybe he'll come down my way in NC and do some shows. I would enjoy seeing him live. Maybe I could collect an autograph(if possible) to have framed up and hang in a place of honor in my music room among my other music memorabilia. When I do a cover of a Byrd's tune on my Rickenbacker 360-12 or 370-12 and post it on You Tube or when occasionally playing live, people will sometimes say to me "that sounded just like Roger McGuinn on the 12-string"...but I am always quick to let them know that Roger is a true master of the instrument and they should have a careful listen to his work and they will see and hear the difference. Roger McGuinn is inimitable! -BC
