Ok, I'll try again-

I played guitar on the Troggs "Wild Thing", the "Lime in the Coconut" and toured extensively with Elton John and Hall and Oates. Eric Clapton has also called me the best guitarist in the world.

Who am I, what famous guitar player did I replace, and what am I doing now?

Right on Scotty, he's a minister that's part of a very music oriented ministry. He gives his testimony with his guitar strapped on and plays little bits of things he's done at different parts of his life that led up to his rebirth. Any one with more interest can PM me, as I don't want to violate any forum rules, but I do know him personally and our daughters are friends.

Wow, Caleb Quayle. Haven't heard his name in awhile. I've got the first 2 Hookfoot albums on vinyl. Great stuff. I love their cover of Don't Let It Bring You Down.

Okay,I'll try. What 60's rocker is minister of his own church? His band was based in So Cal.

Ok quick fire first to guess gets a medal!
Which artist has had number one singles in the UK as a solo artist, as part of a duo, as part of a trio, as part of a quartet and as part of a group with more than four members?

It's not a trick question at all George. The three fellows that you mentioned are current members and the best of the bunch IMO. The question as posed remains unanswered.

Here's another teaser.

Name the album recorded in 1970 that became a collectors item in the years to come and was voted the number one most collectable rock album.

Name four houshold name acts that were associated later on with the band that recorded the album in question.

At least I can manage the first bit:

"Growers of Mushroom" by Leaf Hound - 'twas voted number one collectable by Q Magazine.

I know members of Free and Foghat had connections with leafhound, but I can't nail down other "household names"... :?
