actually the 4004 always had plenty of low end. Now I can dial in high and low mids. I haven't taken pics yet and no sound bytes yet either.

I always like to hear good news ...

I am liking the audere preamp and the hb1 pickups. With the 2 mid range tone controls I can dial in some nasty tones.
