Hey JK have a safe trip.

I hope the thief is not a psychopath and the guitar does not show up in little "chunks" at Graham's house. Perhaps this is payback from the RIO folks.

Now that's an image I can't wait to get out of my head!!! Better just carry it with you...small sizes....unmarked, inconspicuous piece of luggage. If you decide to wear it, there's a good chance you'll never see your guitar....or me ever again! Now if you could somehow get the incomparable Ms. Hoff's to wear it....oh never mind.

All this, assuming of course, that the kidnappers have a plan to actually get the guitar to you. Other than the mysterious ransom note that flew into JB's car, I haven't heard from them.....

The plot thickens!

I arrived home from work this afternoon, to put my suitcase in the car for the drive to DC and.....look what was sitting on my front porch!
What does this mean?
What does this mean?

Attached to it was a note that was written in some kind of code. So far I've only been able to start deciphering the first few words.....

_O _O_ O_ _N O_ _H_ _OG G__'S IT!!! The rest will have to wait until tonight, when I can log into some NASA computers and try to break the code.

Not quite....the NASA super computers have gotten through the first sentence. It reads:

DO NOT OPEN OR THE DOG GET'S IT!!

I'm still working on the rest of it....will provide updates as I can.

I'd better be careful, or I may wind up having to take Joey's advice....

Well, with the computers crunching all night long, we've gotten this far in decoding the message.

DO NOT OPEN OR THE DOG GET'S IT!!

_ _SE IS _OOB_ _RA_ _E_ …S_ _A _I_ _ O_ _H_ _H, _A_ _O_ _S _S
_O _ _O_ S:

P_O_O_ O_ _ _A_A_ G_I_ _I_ _ I_ _S _O_ _’S U_ _E_ _ _O_A_ _ES _U_ _ _E _ _OS_E_ O_ _ _F _ _T _I_ _I_H_ 11/07/08 O_ _A_E _I_L _E _E_ O_E_ _ _E_O_A_E_. _OMP_IA_ _E E_ _U_E_ _EA_ _I_A_IO_.

_ _ _AAAA- _AAA- _AA!!!

More to follow.....

I'm not sure I'm up for all this international intrigue.....BTW, which Dog are they talking about......Jason?
