Peter, I am just throwing his latest chop in here in case you want to make room for these in the registry. I couldn't edit my last post.

Re: Rickenbacker Register Now Online
Thank you for your comments Justin.
I am actually looking pretty closly on %99.9 of all ebay deals involving rickenbackers on the bay and I already added the instruments you are referring to, the seller was discussed on a thread that I see you already found...
Currently, I do not see much taste in any effort to point out that this instrument was butchered other than simply stating so in the remarks field. If there will be more of these we might add a "butchered" field to the instrument attributes, but for now - it is simply too much work for very few instruments, once we add this field I could easily find the ones already added and change them with a very short SQL statement.
Thanks again.

Re: Rickenbacker Register Now Online
Hello Gil. First off, congratulations on your wedding. I hope you had fantastic honeymoon, and welcome back.
My suggestion was put forth only to identify the original instrument. For anyone seeing a Ric for sale that may have had one of these jack plates installed and being able to find out that it is in fact not on the guitar it originated from is good enough. It being registered at all would accomplish that, never mind what condition it was last seen in.

Thanks, actually the honeymoon is still being planned
I will soon change the register so "collected item" instruments (like the butchered ones that were collected from ebay) will publicly display their "remarks" field.
In such a case, when someone will search the serial number of one of these instruments he will get a "butchered" remark easily visible.
