Very cool, J Dog! I love the custom pickguard.... Kind of makes me want to get one for my 330 Purpleburst--but that one already bears a very distinguished signature on its lower guard, so I'll let it be for now....

BTW, whatever happened to the original J Dog Ric?

Thanks Melibee. The original J Dog Rick ('00 330/12 TUR, 52nd week serial) was returned to white guards/TRC and regular knobs and sold to a well known Rick dealer several months back.

(This is not to be confused with the original J Dog guitar, a '95 Epiphone LP Special II with Gibson P94's and a Bigsby B5 and original artwork by J Dog. I still have and play that guitar.)

Interesting update, I played JD Rick II at a July 4th party on Friday and totally pwned. It sounded like a million bucks, even through a friend's tiny Crate amp! Now to put in some toast(ers)...

Pick your nose, play with yourself, mosh on toast(ers) often, regards, Goofydog...

Jason.....This is sort of a "Rain Man" response but yeah, I'm glad you kept the oven knobs. Same vintage brown and gold ones are on my Rics for now. Adds vibe, brah. Peace, out......Goofyfoot.
Play on, pick often, jam with any Rickenbacker, and prosper.
