I ordered the 4004Cii5 in translucent red like Scotts 4004 bass. I think his looks great and in my own humble opinion goes best with the gold trim. I would have ordered it in translucent black if RIC offered that finish. If the hardware was chrome, I would have ordered a jetglo.
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS!

Chris, I'm a member of the 4004Cii club and all I can tell you is that it is one hell of a bass. As Scott would say, it's got a little darker of a tone but as I would say, it's still has that Rick punch. I also own a V63 a 4003 a 4003S/5 and the 4004 is one of my favs. I highly recommend one or two!

Andy,
I have a v63 just like yours, and it is my old faithful, but lately I've gotten the jones for a 4004. What can you tell me about it, comparing A/B, with the v63??? I've played a Ci before, loved it, but I've never seen a Cii in the flesh. And, yes that is a collection anyone would be proud of!
