Not recorded for the White Album, John later changed the lyrics and recorded it for the Imagine album - Retitled 'Jealous Guy'.

I never knew that was a 1968 song. All the music and melody was exactly the same. That's what amazes me.
It was a good call losing the lyric in favor of the heartwrenching "Jealous Guy" lyrics...but, wow, what a great song to just throw away for awhile. Never heard anything else like it before or since, but it STILL misses the cut---on a double album. Sheesh, that's just burgeoning creative talent...
