The experiment succeeded

Post by wittyair »

They were all right! There is just no way to get the full value of this color with a camera. Blink an eyelash and it changes.
It's a different color from every standpoint. John, Ben, Eric, Kenny and all the folks at Rickenbacker I tip my hat to you all.
Spectacular!!!!!! Someone said in one of the posts something about an East L.A. lowrider color.......very aptly put. I'll post
a couple pics here but really, all of you must stop in sometime and see this guitar in person..........as stated in another post, there is
an open invitation! I just cant stop looking at it!!!

Nice photos Craig. Thanks for posting them. You've got 3, one off, colored Rickenbackers now, right?

You know it's a tiny thing, but that blue might be the one color I'd consider leaving the flag decal on!!

Looks great Craig--

Yeah, that guitar was one of the hardest to capture the color correctly in a photo. I probably took some 200 odd pictures to get the few that we posted. I was not satisfied completely with the pictures, but it was the best I could do with the knowledge I had of the equipment on hand. I personally prefer film over digital, but film is not practical for the eBay instruments.

Anyways, glad you are stoked with the instrument!!
