Blondie

Post by epitreture »

I only could get fleeting glances at it, but it looks like Chris Stein is playing a 450/12 in this one. Am i mistaken?

Parallel Lines is perhaps one of the greatest albums of all time. Here's a better version of the song, though, by the original artists, The Nerves (by the way, Paul Collins is cool):

If I can't ever get a white on white 330-12, then a black 450-12 will do!

Cool!! I never realized that was a cover version that Blondie was doing. Thanks!

Blondie is touring Parallel Lines now, as part of the anniversary of its release. They're performing the album in its entirety as part of their set and then some other hits and a few other pieces.

Saw them last summer. They rocked, but not as good as the 70s or 80s lineup. Debbie can't hit some of those notes anymore. There was nothing like seeing them at The Wiskey on Sunset Blvd!

Those are my principles, and if you don't like them... well, I have others.

Definitely a 450/12FG in the Blondie video. There is also some live footage of him using that and other Ricks I believe. The original was cool, but that Blondie is such a fox! :D :D :D
