Strings? Warranty?

Hi. I purchased a new 2008 4003 last month and I noticed the warranty card it said there are certain strings that comply with the warranty. Does anybody know which ones I should put on that can be put on and which ones to avoid? Thanks.

if you expect any warranty than the way to get it is not to play it at all and get another guitar ..

Basically, any good brand name string that is in the gauge range the guitar was designed for will not void the warranty. It's written that way to keep someone from claiming warranty coverage after using high tension 13 gauge strings (on a Rick designed to use 10 gauge) for four years, and developing severe neck problems.

I don't believe using Pyramids will void the RIC warranty. RIC's problem with them is that Pyramid has claimed that their strings are exactly like the Rickenbacker strings of the sixties, which Ric says is untrue.

Awesome. I still have the factory rounds on it but I would love to put some sweet flats on it like there are on my jazz

TI Jazz Flats, D'addario Chrome (Light Gauge) and Optimas are a good place to start.

Pyramid strings are heavier than the original Maxima's as well as be
a different metal(not sure of the composition)...
