It was tough being in high school back then (graduated in 1985). The weird thing about all this is that when we were in school we were just "rockers" and were into Motorhead, Sabbath, Rush, Purple, Rainbow, Zep, Floyd, Genesis etc etc. There were no rock subdivisions (no pun intended) at our school, which I personally think is how it should be. I hate music being compartmentalized.
