Sounds familiar...

Last night, BBC4 showed a concert by Ray LaMontagne. I've just been watching it off the PVR. A few songs in, he got to a number which I hadn't heard before. It's called "Be Here Now".

If you're not familiar with it, play the youtube video below. Hang on for the first minute or so: it takes a while for the melody to get going. There's no need to listen beyond the first verse or two, though - just stick around long enough to familiarise yourself, OK?

That first song is soooooooooooooooooooooo boring. I can't stand it.

Thought of that right off as soon as I heard the first guy's opening guitar riff. I really thought he was going to do a slow cover of "If I needed Some One." Silly me! :mrgreen:
