Nice flip there Daniel! Man, wish I could figure out how to do that!! I'm usually the guy who sells low and watches the flip!!

320 BG Ebay Score

Winner anyone here?

I'm curious though Dan--why is the shipping with insurance is so high? I've shipped several guitars in the $2K range for less than $100 through UPS and FedEx. As a buyer, I'd hate to shell out big bucks for a guitar without insurance on the delivery....yikes!!!

There's no magic to it. I just checked craigslist at the right time. I think anyone on this board would have probably done the same thing. This is a specialized message board. All of us here know a little more about Ricks than the average musician. That's why we come on here, to brag, joke, and ask questions about Rickenbackers. If any one of you guys found a steal of a deal on a Rick, and didn't need it, why wouldn't you turn it around and make a little cash for yourself? There's nothing wrong with that. Especially if you can use that money to actually find the guitar you really want. Say you really want a 4001CS, but can't afford the $4k price tag. But then you find a 360 in your area for $500. Wouldn't you sell it for $1500 and then buy the 4001CS? It would be like getting the CS for a $1000 discount. I'm really sorry if some of you guys take offense to that philosophy, but it's really the only way I can afford what I have as far as gear goes. I'm sure a few of you guys are in the same boat as me. Please tell me if you think I'm wrong. I'm really not trying to run any kind of game here. I just really love guitars and enjoy discussing things on this board.

No offense taken here. We are a capitalist nation, after all. If anyone doesn't like it they can move 90 miles south of Florida! :)

Seriously and honestly, I'm surprised it went for so much. That would be the "high side" of the range, yes? Way to go Dan, nice flip.

No offense to me Daniel...envy maybe, but no offense  . As I stated in my post, I'm always seeming to be on the upside down end of those transactions--buy high sell low,

Oh well, one of the many reasons I'm not a captain of industry, or a music dealer!

So back to my question--anyone here score the BG?

Yeah, saw it this morning, started to post a heads up in the Sale section then realized it was the same one. Maybe the winner last time backed out?

The buyer said that I did not state that there were holes on the back of the headstock from the other tuners. So he returned it to me. I guess I didn't make it 100% clear about that even though I mentioned there were other tuners on it at one time.
