My New License Plate

Post by dwinn »

This was an impulse buy on eBay, but I thought it would look good on the front of my car. What do you think?Image

dwinn.....Cool, brah. Stay with your impulses and attach that puppy to the front of your vehicle! Uuhhh, errr.....it's cool with law enforcement types in your area, eh?

Peace, out....

I think it's legal. Anyone know the law on that?

A cool plate.

I know that a number of states now require plates on the front and rear bumpers of vehicles registered in the state. Should yours be one, then I suspect that it will be illegal if it takes the place of a required plate.

You may get away with having it placed inside your back window, being mindful that it becomes a missle should you be involved in a collision.

I would put it in your music room or garage where it will be equally cool.

It will be interesting to see what the motor vehicle authorities say about this.

Florida's a one-plate state, I think you'll be fine. I know a guy who drives around with a Euro-style plate on the front of his car.

Thanks Daniel. I didn't know "dwinn" was from Florida.

I actually live in Atlanta GA. We only have to have a plate on the back, so I guess it would be ok to put it on the front.

Mine: 60 CAPRI

Because they wouldn't give me "381V69"...said it would offend some people...sent me the notification of refusal from PO Box 48069, Sacramento CA.

This has been a true story.

Louisiana is a one plate state, too. Oddly enough, I was driving home the other night, and I saw a license plate that said RIC on it. I wondered how I was going to tell you guys, but I think I just have.
