I found this Rickenbacker advert in an old copy of Guitarist Magazine (UK) from September 1996. They are lovely looking specimens and I thought that it would be good to share it with you. Perhaps others have got Rickenbacker related adverts that they could scan and put here too? Before long we could have a nice collection!

It's just the way the lighting is highlighting the edges.

Here's an interesting one. I missed (forgot to bid) this one on eBay, but kept the image. Presumably this is March 1980 to celebrate The Jam's number one slot. A nice touch from RIC and a good shot of Weller with 4 Rickenbackers at the same time.

yeah, and I'm pretty sure the 330MG behind his leg is the one that just sold at auction (owned by another forumite as well).

Very cool ad though, and you're right Rob- I've never seen anything from Ric about the Jam before this. cool...

That's very nice Darren, lovely image.

I don't suppose that they need to, but RIC doesn't seem to make the most of a good looking product on their website. I would love to see multi-angled guitar photo’s of the current range on the site, or a "Pick of the Rics" type revolving image.
