I've gotten some killer deals on Ricks, none this good though. Best I have done is $850 for my 4001 None more black...how about you guys?

Judging by the other items for sale that was a pawnbroker selling that bass. It looks more like a 4003 to me. Great price. I paid $700 CDN for an 4001 a couple of years ago from a pawnbroker. I thought I got the deal of the century.

Two+ years ago, I bought one just like this with a BIN of $500. Guy had monkeyed with the p/us, "installing" Bartolinis, but wired them direct (bypassing the controls) to the outlet and got fed up making it work right. Sold with the original and Bart p/us.

This seller obviously didn't know what he had (yes, it is a 4003) or what it would be worth.

Wow ! Thats the best 4004 to 4003 conversion I've ever seen ! Must have been Rathed . No not enough strings .
